How do I treat blueberry bush disease?



my Blueberry bushes have shriveled leaves and do not produce berries and nod more bushes are affected

    Hi Jenn; Take a sample of the shriveled leaves on a limb to your local Extension Service; they should be able to tell you what the disease, virus, etc. is on the plant. They should also be able to tell you what you need to do to get rid of the problem. Good Luck!

    It wasn’t any of the pictures on Cornell. The canes look fine. What I did is late summer cut them back hard then applied rose food that had stuff for insects and fungus that lasts for 3 months because I figured otherwise I would have to dig them up. The leaves came back normal. I looked online and found a type of mite that looked like the disease but it said you can’t cure it except dig up and burn the bushes and it can travel miles to bushes. I realize a systemic insecticide is not great to eat but if I put it in the soil right after the fruit bearing was done maybe there would be enough time to clear it before next season.

    Doubtful Jenn. It will spread. Youd best bet is to do as told: Dig it up and Burn it. Also you may want to check out:
