I use Ajax & Clorox. Both work wonders!!
don't use an abrasive cleanser --- will eventually scratch the surface --- fiberglass or porcelain .... use a liquid or gel, and never ever mix clorox ( any sodium hypochlorite ) with anything but water! https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/cleaning/tips/a32773/cleaning-products-never-mix/
Depending on what your bathtub is made out of. If it's acrylic, (most are these days) then you should never use anything abrasive on it, or it will scratch. That means no abrasive scrubber or cleanser like comet. Instead it would need to be cleaned with dish soap and a cloth, like a terry cloth rag.

I use baking soda, white vinegar and dish liquid. Use a scrub brush and you won't believe how quick it cuts the soap scum. Put baking soda all over the bottom, squeeze some dish liq. all around then add your white vinegar!!! Be ready, its going to foam up like crazy!
My age and health prevent kneeling or bending to scrub the tub. So, I bought a new broom that is ONLY used for cleaning the tub. First, I use my hand-held shower to wet it down. Squirt on some Dawn dish soap, sprinkle with Bar Keepers Friend cleaning powder, then scrub with the broom, and rinse with the shower spray. So easy I wish I had used this method my whole life!
