Hi Jo-Ann. I'm Cindy. Begin by making a bucket of warm water. Add a quarter-cup of vinegar. If grease and grime are involved, add a couple squirts of Dawn dish soap. Put your mop in the bucket and totally saturate it. Wring it out until it's only damp. Wipe the entire floor with this solution, freshening the mop often. After this, wash your floors again with Murphy's Oil Soap according to the directions on the bottle. The soap will give an extra cleaning and the oil will condition the wood. Good luck Jo-Ann and Happy Holidays.

Before you use floor restore, clean with original Krud Kutter. It will easily clean floor. It is a concentrate, so put in spray bottle with directed amount of wwater. This is a hand and knees project. Spray an area. Leave on for a few minutes. Wipe off wit a damp microfiber rag. The results will be worth it.
