To make it into something else? Or what are you thinking
Thela, go through the tried and true steps: Clean, Sand, Stain or Paint, Seal. So many types of stains and paint exist that you can do about anything or any style. I’ve always wondered what a “rock” treatment on a headboard would look like. This comes in a kit in the paint department. You need to seal your work, and there are many types of sealer. If you plan to keep the headboard and might be redoing it in less than five years, go with a lighter sealer like wax or spray. If you will be selling it, do a thicker sealer that will last longer. Best wishes and please take photos so you can post your work on Hometalk. ☺️
Hi. Well, it depends on what it looks like and how big it is both in height and length and what wood it's made of, and if it's solid wood. If you could post a pix, that would help. Thanks.
