    Hi. That's not a problem.

    - Clean well,

    - remove doors (put masking tape on the inside of the cabinet with a number and another piece on the door. That way you can return the door to the right cabinet.

    - then use a primer that adheres to plastic.

    - you can then use a good semi-gloss latex paint

    - spray paint the hinges and handles with a new color and put back up.

    Done!

Just take your time. If it's a lot of cabinets and doors, start with the bottom first. When completed, tackle the upper cabinets.

Sorry, Essentially those cabinets are not meant to be “serviced” because the “paper” is like a contact paper and it’s called “melamine faced MDF”.

You can go over the cleaned & prepped surface with new contact paper, but it won’t last many years.

If they’re flat panel doors, I would laminate them with plastic laminate. If you don’t want to buy tools nor have a place to cut the plam down to sizes, then a cabinet shop can easily do this for you.

The Contact cement is not “forgiving” & I recommend removing the doors & drawer fronts so that you can get the plastic laminate panels on straight & then clamp or weigh them down.

If you love your park model, consider buying new cabinets.

    How to Paint Cabinets

Make sure they are clean and dry. Remove the doors and hardware. Mark the doors and cabinets with tape where they go. Lightly rub the cabinets with a green Scotch Brite pad to dull the surface Use a damp rag to remove dust after sanding. Prime with a stain blocking primer like KILZ. Acrylic, or water base paints are low-fume and clean up easily with water. Alkyd, or oil-base, paints require good ventilation because the paint contains solvents that can irritate your lungs and make you feel sick. Alkyd options require mineral spirits for cleanup, but they provide a hard, durable paint finish. Whichever you use, buy the best-quality paint you can afford for a lasting kitchen cabinet finish. Seal with at least three coats with a water based polyurethane. Use a small foam roller and foam brush for a smooth finish.

I would try painting them with milk paint. The paint is made to adhere to surfaces with little prep work. (You just need to clean and lightly sand the surfaces first.) I used General Finishes Milk Paint, Antique White on my oak cabinets, and they look great! I show my cabinets and share my complete process here: http://momhomeguide.com/my-painted-kitchen-cabinets-a-year-later/ Good luck!
