An easy seasonal art print for your Christmas fireplace. All you need is a piece of wrapping paper and your favorite frame. Check out the festive vintage wrapping paper we showcased on our mantle.

What do you get when you take an Ikea poster frame and add wrapping paper to it? An easy DIY Christmas art print for your fireplace! I've had fun decorating our new fireplace and mantle this year. (Psst! You can read all about our fireplace mantle and built ins project here).

I spotted a really unique piece of wrapping paper at Paper Source, and decided it would look perfect framed on our mantle. The wrapping paper was the exact size to fit a poster sized frame from Ikea.

Another great feature of the Ikea poster frame is that it's plexiglass. That makes it lightweight and less breakable. Plus the plexiglass gives off a bit less glare.

The plexiglass is protected on both sides with a piece of plastic. All you need to do is peel off the plastic and add your wrapping paper to the frame.

Once your print is in your frame, now you're ready for the most time consuming part. Push all the prongs back down. No really! This project couldn't be easier. My toddler helped me with this by stacking his figures on the back :)

You could also use removeable wallpaper for a similar look. WIth all the fun removable wallpaper patterns, you could even find a non seasonal print to decorate your mantle all year.
