Start with lights, (I usually wind some lights around the trunk before starting on the foliage) then baubles and 'memory stuff', then anything sparkly you fancy. I am not into tinsel, but love the look of fine strands of silver draped over the branches to look like icicles. Works for me! Happy Christmas!

Hi Jean. I like to put ribbon and add some faux winter/Christmas florals into mine. I do this at the end after I put the lights and ornaments on.
