Black Eyed Susans, an Easy Flowering Beauty for the Hot Summer Garden

Planted in large swaths this golden beauty will shine thru the hottest summer days. We rarely get any summer rains so here we must water in the summer, this gorgeous plant will only need watering once or twice the entire summer if it is well established.
She blooms in a variety of shades from amber burnt orange,
to a pure golden yellow. Some petals are long and drape while others are more short and perky.
Like snowflakes, no two plants seem to be exactly alike. If like mine you have several colors planted together the seeds of a single plant can produce the variety of colors.
Flowers can be very large, as big as my hand in some cases. This summer favorite also weathers the harshest of winters and comes back each year, readily spreading by reseeding itself.

I thought that the two-tones flowers with reddish/brown centers were rubeckia, is this incorrect?
