Here you go!
Make sure you use a dry brush or stencil when applying the paint...it will produce a more authentic texture with areas of paint looking porous like real brick. Also blend several tones of paint to look more realistic since bricks are handmade and the color isn't totally precise.
Get a sponge that you co7ld cut into a brick get 3 or 4 put in paint then push on wall do maybe 3 times then dip in more paint
We had to replicate the yellow brick road for a display. We used a huge, pourous, rectangular, fairly stiff sponge. Pour a thin layer of paint (ours was yellow of course) into a cookie sheet that has short sides. It was the most authentic looking yellow brick road we could have hoped for.
