Use an iron and paper bags. Keep ironing paper bags over wax, let it soak up into paper until gone. Finish up with pouring boiling water thru the insideback of where wax is on the clothes to remove the rest. Launder.

Your welcome. I accidentally spilled candle wax on my sons father very important letterman jacket that belonged to friend of his.that had passed. Well as devesateted as he was he boxed it and wouldn't let me near it to fix the it. I had no idea how to fix I just felt so bad. Months go by and I came across a this remedy. I snuck it out of its box and decided to try it. It worked like a charm. It was also metallic sliver wax it really looked doomed. He was so happy to see it looked as if it had never happened. I hope you find one that works for you. Good luck😊 solution

Roni, Start with boiling water in a narrow bowl, place the pants part with the wax over the water, the steam should loosen the wax, and peel it off. Aloha.

  • Pop them in the freezer. When frozen, the wax will just peel off.

I would try putting your sweatpants in a freezer, then try to pop off the wax.

A warm iron on top of few paper towels placed down on the waxy stain. The heat will melt and allow the wax to soak into the paper towels. If you don't have a iron or afraid of scorching or burning the material you can use the same method but instead use a hot spoon and blot it over the top of the paper towels so the wax soaks up. Don't go over the paper towel with wax already soaked in, you will want a fresh piece each time you go over it.
