Moisten a scrubbing side of a sponge with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover & scrub directly on the nail polish. Moisten with more if needed. Avoid the painted area & scrub in small circles., keep scrubbing, it may take a few minutes.
Wipe the area when dine with a damp rag to remove the residue.

You could try your nail polish remover but it will probably remove some of the finish on your paint unless it is latex flat.
