Beautiful Sunny Flower Garden With Black Eyed Susans

I started a sunny perennial flower garden along the southern side of my home last summer, and this summer it has just exploded into a multitude of blossoms! I have been enjoying cutting my black eyed susans for beautiful bouquets! My garden is also filled with lilies, phlox and sunflowers, which should bloom in August! These plants are all very hardy -- they are thriving despite my novice gardening knowledge.
These gorgeous black eyed susans sprouted from a free pack of seeds that I received from Burt's Bees. I had no blooms last summer, but this summer, they are phenomenal! Adore!
I have such a multitude of black eyed susans that I don't mind cutting some for bouquets now and then! (The black eyed susans now surround my DIY bird bath -- I will have to relocate that bird bath!)
These are some of the gorgeous lilies in my garden.
This photo is from a few weeks ago. These phlox are at least double the height now! They are just amazing!
A pretty bouquet I made with a lily and some black eyed susans from my garden.

Lauren of Mom Home Guide on May 12, 2015I think either should work, but I am not sure about your zone. I think the lilies would be the lowest maintenance, since the black eyed susans tend to spread -- a lot!
