Install 3 rods and hang full length sheer curtains, or install 2 full sets of rods, to hang two tiers of curtains on this window.

Hi Debbie. I'm Cindy. I would suggest to decorate them individually. Begin with shades for each window. You can control how much light you want with shades. Then comes the dressings. You can DIY cornice boards. I'm partial to those. Under them you could put up either sheers or curtains. Either of these will soften the look. Last decision is how long you want your curtains to be. Since I don't know what room these windows are in, I will say that kitchen should be down to window sills. Bedroom and living room can go to window sill or to the floor. Wow Debbie, that's a lot of decisions. I'm wishing you all the best. Whatever choices you make, I'm sure it will turn out beautiful.

Cindy, Thanks for the great response! I like your idea of the sheers and cornice board. It is our dining room. I was going to put to the floor. Yes?

They actually make curtain rods for that kind of window.

Debbie,. I have a bay window, with a Levelor cordless shade, which works on springs. It also has an energy shield. It cost about $350, and you can put the shade up as high as you want to let light in. I have nothing on my ledge, my cat has that space. You can put plants in the window, or pictures of the family. Aloha!

Hang sheer of lacy curtains midway down leaving upper area open. Plenty of light and still some privacy.

Susan, Thanks for the great idea! I never would have thought of that idea! Maybe I can put a cornice board on top with a print? Love it!
