Jan,. You can make bookends, by melting the CDs, and shape them with a 90 degree angle. Melting it is easy. Put an iron on high, no steam, and hold it about 1 inch from the CD. Bend it with your hand, when it becomes soft. They will look like a L shape. Aloha!

My Aunt Violet would glue two together, shiny side out, of course- then some how crochet an open pattern around them and hang them (with crochet thread) in window for lovely sun catchers. They really do reflect nicely.
