How to hang a group of pictures on wal
I like these ideas from The Spruce on how to design a gallery wall with lots of pictures: https://www.thespruce.com/gallery-wall-decor-designs-4129057
Here are some great ideas and instructions for you! I wish you the best!
I like to lay them out on a floor or bed to arrange. This way I can move them around until I like the arrangement.
I trace everything I want to hang on to some craft paper, cut them out, and attach a piece of painter's tape to each. By doing this, I can arrange and rearrange the paper pieces on my wall until I'm happy with the layout. You can also mark where the hanging mechanisms are on the paper and then use them to add the nails to the wall before hanging the actual frames or pieces of decor.
I like to lay them out on the floor in front of where they are going to hang, this way I can visualize how they will look hanging up.
ARRANGE your pictures on the floor. Turn them face down where they'll be the same as facing up. Get some paper & tape the paper together. Use enough paper to cover your entire picture menagerie. Put a piece of tape on the 4 corners of the paper sheet to hold it still. Find each hanger of each frame & with a sharpie, TRACE the hanger onto the paper. When finished, remove the tape from your side of the paper & replace the same tape on the back side facing you & hang this paper on the wall where you want your pictures to be. Drill your pilot holes thru the paper & insert your nails or screws. Remove the paper & hang your pictures.
Measure your wall space where you want your pictures to end up. Next measure a place on the floor below where pictures to hang. Take measurements you got from wall and use tape where you want pictures to be and lay pictures on floor. It is easier to move them around on the floor than using many nails and ending up with unwanted holes. Move and rearrange pictures on the floor until you are satisfied with your arrangement. Now measure wall for each picture and drive nails in. Next step hang pictures and enjoy. Hope this helps you.
A frame that encompasses many pictures. Basically a frame within a frame.
