How can I repair my nutcracker that's missing half a mustache?

Any quality glue should work - super glue, E6000, or 3 in 1 glue.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I don’t have the fallen mustache! I need to create or build a New mustache to match the other half on the face!

I think I would try papier machier - rip up small amount of newspaper - shred it small in a blender - then mix with white glue. When you have a thick paste apply with small stick - say a split popsicle stick. Build it up to match existing one and when dry paint with acrylics.

The papier machier would be my answer too. You can control the color and texture.

Papier-mâché is the answer but you Ned a tiny amount, no need to put in blender. Make small dots of paper, add white glue and form shape, paint it.

There are a couple of kinds of clay that would work. one you bake and the and the other you dry.

Sculpy clay would work and can be textured before it hardens.

It is a polymer clay that you can shape. After drying, it can be painted and glued with hot glue (or other glue like super-glue gel).

Crayola came out with moldable clay. Once it dries it hardens. Can find in Wally World or Hobby Lobby.

Wood putty should work fine, and is cheaper than clay. You can build layers, shape and indent it while wet, then scrape and sand it for the look you want when it's dry. Add a little to the shape in case it should shrink and to give you more to work with or whittle away.

My suggestion would be to remove the other half of the mustache first. Creating only one side will make it very difficult to match.

I think you could create one with Plaster of Paris and then paint it and glue it on with E6000.

I have done this with many nutcrackets! I use sculpt clay but I always pop off the existing part to use as a guide and then put them both back on with Quik Hold blue available at Hobby Lobby in the jewelry dept. It works great for other repairs also.

I do this all the time! Remove the other half! This way you can have uniform sides . I use sculpt clay sale the clay then I use a small art knife to make hair lines for realism ! Then shape a piece of aluminum foil to create a curved form to resemble the ave curve , please your moustache pieces and bake.watch so that it doesn't change color ! About 10 or 12 minutes at 175 degrees is all it will take !!! Experiment ! It is great to make it what you want! Enjoy!

Hello, maybe you could fashion a piece out of clay and glue it on.

Mix flour and water together to make a paste. Shape in the same size. Let dry, glue on and paint. You can also use kids sculpting clay.

I would use a two part putty epoxy to make the missing piece and then paint it.

The first thing that comes to my mind is to make it out of clay. You can mould it to make it fit perfectly, and then do the details. And use e6000 to glue the dried clay in place.

You could use sculpting clay, paper mache, or plaster of Paris to shape a new one, then attach it with E6000 glue.
