A sewing needle will hold up to ten pounds. You can use more than one if you like. That is what we do to prevent nail holes.

You could use command hooks. You may need a couple depending on the weight of the frames.

Command hooks - If your picture is heavier than what is recommended by using one hook - use two.
I use command strips for large pictures.
