    Hi Minnie,

I know first hand how frustrating this can be. One of the best things I've found is just old-fashioned baking soda. It's so good at absorbing odors and freshening things up without leaving a "perfumed" fragrance behind. Best wishes!

On bad smells Arm and Hammer carpet fresh is good.

  • Lots of pets here too! 3 dogs, 6 cats, a canary and a dragon. Plus the neighbors 3 dogs on a daily basis and any visiting pets. I vacuum every single day. No matter how dog tired I might be. Baking soda works the best and is inexpensive compared to chemical filled commercial products. Purchase in 15 pound bags at any warehouse type store. Also, have your carpets professionally cleaned at least one a year, I do mine every 3 months like clockwork.
