How do I make a chalk paint?
I followed a recipe for chalk which said 1 cup paint and half cup baking soda and 3 spoons of water.but the paint keeps getting thick, can I add more water ?

Yes, as long as it doesn’t change the color. Chalk paint will dry fast in the jar and very fast on the wall. So mix small batches at a time, and keep stirring or shaking the jar. Use a paintbrush and a small amount of water to get the paint off the sides and bottom of the jar. Best wishes! 😊
I add floetrol to latex paint (including chalk paint). It doesn’t cause the pigment to separate (like water), the paint has a nice smooth texture, and working time is extended.
