How do you use those countertop kits?
I want to redo my plain ol countertop to look like granite, they have regular kits that paint on in so many steps with a protective coated finish. Has anyone used one of these and how were they? difficulties? Did you like it? Thank you!

My cousin did it, but I have not seen it yet. She was happy with results.
Daich and Giani countertop kits actually have fine minerals in them to look like stone. Very durable.
Millions of people have used the kits with excellent results. Prep and following directions to a "T" is essential for a desirable outcome. Here is what other Hometalkers have done.

Two weeks ago I used Daich Spreadstone wall and tile kit to resurface the tile around my fireplace. It was a blackish brown granite from the trim down and I bought their kit in Alabaster. I was so nervous to try this but it came out beautiful and it was easy. Six steps for my kit, cleaning solution, bond coat, base coat, accent, highlighter then sealer all applied with either a brush or rollers included in the kit. Here is my finished fireplace.
