Hi Tommy. The best time in AR to plant garlic is in the fall. October through December. If the ground isn't frozen yet I would plant it now. Good Luck and Happy New Year!

In your zone, typically planted in fall. If you are willing to experiment, you can try and plant some now and again in the spring and give it a go. I am in zone 9 and for me, grows pretty much year round. Excellent natural pest repellant.
