How do I plan a garden?

This year I'm teaching my grandchildren & 2 of their friends how 2 plant veggies. Flower beds will become veggie beds. All beds have tons of compost. Ph is 6.5.current veggie garden is 30x 50 and in full sun.other areas have sun more than 6 hrs daily .Have a built in sprinkler system. I want to plant 3 varieties of tomatoes, zucchini,eggplant, red,yellow & orange peppers. Hot peppers,carrots,asparagus,beets, potatoes, string beans,yellow wax beans, cauliflower, brussel sprouts.What can B Planted together? I'll use Rapid Grow once a week & sprinkle system weekly.Your thoughts please.ThanksFrank

Great info from Naomie. a GARDEN? That is a mini farm. Kids really enjoy planting and watching everything grow. Good for you and have fun.
Contact your County Agricultural Extension Service. They are wonderfully helpful, have lots of handouts and ideas specific for your area. It's free. They will also tell you that Rapid Grow once a week is most likely not needed. You want the vegetables to grow - not the leaves. Specific vegetables need specific nutrients ie: Tomatoes need extra calcium to prevent tomato end rot. They can assist you with this, also with testing your soil to see just what nutrients are needed.
