Depends on what you are storing.....at my place, the ornaments go back to dedicated ornament boxes, then the smaller boxes are put on shelves. You want to protect them from breaking. Tissue paper crumpled arround them helps. Always label the ornament boxes as fragile . The light strings get wrapped on sturdy cardboard pieces, some I’ve cut 2 identical pieces taped to gether to make them more sturdy. One quarter of my basement is full of Christmas cheer.
this year I have 5 trees of various sizes decorated for Christmas.
Is this storage for presents you received, wrapping paper and bows, xmas ornaments or what?
Hi Lynn!! I am not sure what you are wanting to know, but I believe you are asking how you can store your Christmas items. Take a look at these ideas!! I hope you have a happy New Year!
I use the nice storage bins that you can buy most anywhere. I have moved a lot in my life so I have lots of them, and I use them to store my Christmas in. I am also fortunate to have a place in the basement that I keep all the bins marked clearly what is in them and they are easy to get too.
I also use large rubbermaid/plastic storage bins. Then I label them so I know what is in each. I keep ornaments, tree lights, garland in one. Wrapping paper supplies in another and our Christmas village in another.
I keep the big small plastic bags from sheet, comforters and store under by bed
Christmas items store well in clear plastic bins. I have them labeled with what is inside and stacked on wooden IKEA shelves in my basement. Everything is organized and easy to find.
