How do I insulate slab flooring without using carpet?
I live in New England and purchased a home that is built on a slab , what type of flooring would you recommend Other than carpet. this area tends to become quite cold in the winter months .

I don’t know what it’s called, but there is a heating system that people put under ceramic tile floors so they aren’t cold. Ask a contractor or someone who knows about such things. They should be able to guide you.

you can also put down cork or wool underlayment before putting down new floors .But under floor heating is your best option like said .It is much cheaper now than ever before .Most flooring sights on the internet sell it .Even lowes and home depot sell it now
