What zone do you live in Sandy? I have snap dragons which, in zone 9, pop up in spring and with proper deadheading, bloom continuously through fall.

Zinnia,Cosmos,Sunflowers,Flax,Marigolds,Daylilies,Toadflax,Geraniums,Daisys,Roses,Lavender,Rosemary,Sweet Marjarom,Holly Hocks There are so many to choose Really depends where you live and how much sun the area gets.

  ok so shade garden astilbe,columbine,hosta,bleeding heart,virginia blue bells,trillium,dutchman's breeches,squirrel corn,wood poppy,bloodroot,hellebore,hydrangea,foxglove,bee balm,big root geranium,lenten rose It'll be beautiful and bloom all spring summer fall if you mix all these don't forget some ferns sprinkled thru out Ostrich ferns/Fiddle head ferns,mushrooms You can eat YUMMY many of these have medicinal value
