What to put in this huge mason jar?
I have a HUGE mason jar. I would like some ideas on what to put in it for decorations, other than flowers.
I did this once. Bundle up the material you’re going to dye, place it in the sink preferably on a rack so the melted ice doesn’t pool, sprinkle the powdered dye over the fabric, then pile the ice on top.

Why Everyone's Copying This Ice Dye Technique
Hi Sherry, it's loads of fun and pretty easy to do. The method we used was to mix cold water fabric dye and then freeze the different colors in ice trays. Scrunch up your fabric or lay it flat depending on the look you're going through and place the ice cubes on the fabric. Leave to melt. Set the fabric color according to the manufacturer's instructions. You can also use food coloring instead of fabric dye if you just want to experiment.
