Use a razor blade. Then clean up with vinegar and baking soda. If that doesn't work, go for Easy Off oven cleaner.

Did you use 1 cup of baking soda and add 1/3 cup water and wipe the paste onto the door and let it set all night? Then spritz the vinegar on it and wipe it off. I found if I let it set all night in the paste (I applied with a rag or even rubber spatula ) it did make a difference. Hope this helps Janet.

      Thanks DesertRose

I used dry bicarbonate, sprayed with vinegar with little time delay, so your recipe and leaving overnight is something else I'll try!

Easy Off makes a "fume free" cleaner that would clean it easily. You might want to look for that at your local grocery store. It has a lemon scent, and it comes in an aerosol can.

Thanks HC - not sure we sell 'fume free' in Australia, but if other ideas fail I'll go looking!

Try cleaning with TSP (trisodium phosphate), available at hardware stores. Mix as directed. Works better than oven cleaners and no smell.

If you want to clean between the glass between your oven doors, but don't want to take the door apart, you can try feeding a wire through the narrow holes on the underside of the door. For easier access to these holes, it helps to remove the drawer underneath your oven. After removing the drawer, unbend a wire hanger and straighten out one end. Wrap a couple of paper towels around the wire and secure them with a rubber band.Spray a bit of vinegar and soap ( 1:1 ) mixture onto the paper towel. Then carefully insert your “cleaning tool” through the narrow holes in the oven door and use it to wipe any brown stains on the inside of the glass. If you can’t find any access holes on the bottom of your oven door that would allow you to clean between the glass, don’t worry! You can still clean between the glass, but you might need a screwdriver to do it. Consult the owner’s manual for your oven to find out how to open up the glass panes so you can clean between them. (If you can’t find the manual, you can probably find a digital copy online by typing the make and model of your oven into Google.)
