How do I recolor/paint the (velvet type) fabric seat of dining room chairs? I inherited a set of chairs with velvet type seats. What could I use to recolor/paint them. The seat cushions are not the type that can be removed to reupholster them. Thank youJoyce

  They no longer make Magic Brush paint. This article said that you can use Finish All paint, however when I checked with the company they said it is not recommended for velvet or any textured surfaces.

  My cushions can not be removed from the chairs and they are velvet so this will not work for me, but thank you.

  The cushions on my chairs are installed in the chair in such away that they can not be removed, which is why I can not just recover them. In addition, they are a soft velvet and this product can not be used on velvet, but thank you.
