Wooden Bathroom Countertop
The cultured marble sink and vanity top in the guest bath was worn out after 23 years. We didn't want to spend a lot because we were faced with an expensive master bath remodel. I'd seen wooden kitchen counters and thought one might work in this room.
My husband joined two 2 x 12s.
We sanded, stained and cut the hole for the sink. The sink came with a template. The sink was $60.00.
We gave it 4 coats of Helmsman Spar Urethane in a satin finish.
It has held up so well. It's received a years worth of daily use and still looks great. I love it with the white vanity.
