Are you sure it's just not a stain?
Hi Mary,
I've had good results by spraying vinegar & water on outdoor cushions and letting them sit in the sun. This might help you as well. Vinegar is know to kill mold but be careful if your material can't take the acidity of the vinegar. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.

Hello-I had good luck with getting mold and mildew out of our lifejackets soaking in an Oxi powdered bleach solution ( from the dollar store) I would try saturating a towel and see if putting that on the seat —moist sponge like soak —might work in elimination your stains.
Additionally I find this CLR product very helpful and effective.
I also have used the oxi spray from the dollar store on Hammock cushions.

I think this is product you need https://www.concrobium.com/how-to-fight-mold/where-is-your-mold/boats/ this is the one mold stain eraser for marine use https://www.concrobium.com/products/mold-stain-eraser/ And from what I read bleach is no-no cause it will destroy the stitching after boats in sun alot, and n most other solutions just do not work on the stains the mold leaves.
Are you sure that the mold is on the top surface of the seat covering only, and not already penetrated down into the backing, or seat stuffing?
