Go to some paint stores and select some colors in the soft brown family that appeal to you. Take home the paint samples and tape them lightly to the walls around the bathroom. View them in different lighting throughout the day and evening. Begin to eliminate the ones that have the pink/yellow tones that you dislike. Gradually get yourself down to one or two. Then purchase sample sizes of those colors and paint sections of the wall. This should help you to select the perfect shade.

Hello Paulie! When I am choosing a paint color I go and pick up paint chip samples, bring them home and lay them on white paper--bright white copy paper from my printer works well. I look at them several times during the day in the different light that occurs as the day goes by. It is easier to see the hues this way in side by side comparisons. It is best to do this in the room you are planning to paint. You can also ask at a paint store like Sherwin Williams and they can guide you and initially get you started at picking out a color. You can also purchase small samples of your paint color to try it on your wall. These little samples work well for craft projects too!

Your best bet is to get some chips of the colors you like and see how they go with the bathroom. Associates at a paint store will be able to help you find the colors that are the true brown to pick some out.
