How do I use a hand needle threader?

Someone suggested I buy a hand needle threader, I did but it came with no instructions on how to use. Can anyone help me?

    Lillie...Can you make a picture of the needle threader you purchased and attach to your question? Maybe we can help you then...several different kinds to my knowledge.

    The only needle threader I have used has a flexible wire loop at one end. Just thread it through the eye of the needle which will result in the wire loop being on the other side. Now put your thread through the loop and pull the needle threader loop with the thread back through the eye of the needle. Good luck!

    Got the needle thru wire, now what?

      Now put the thread thru the wire and pull the wire back thru the eye.. You needle is now threaded!

    I found some needles that are open on the eye end....Works great! Some reason the thread will not come out easily...I think there is a little hook (smaller than my eyes can see) that prevents the thread from pulling out. Am sure you can find them at a fabric store. Susan told you about the needle threader I have used. That works great on the medium to large eye needles and I wouldn't be without one.
