How do I make easy log furniture?

I have extra pieces of logs that are about 3 to 4 inches in diameter and have seen easy plans to build simple sofa's. The one I am thinking of used a canvas type material and slung it over the top and front, then used large pillows for sofa seats.. If ya like log furniture, they looked real easy to make, if I could figure out how.. any help would be appreciated

  Hi , I so wish I had taken a photo, this was at least 30 yrs ago and I have never forgotten what it looked like, and it stayed in my minds eye, lol ..Thanks so much for the reply, I will keep looking,, and hoping for some guidance before I break out the chainsaw,,lol

  Oh my! Yes, 30 years ago it was a different time. We needed a camera back in those days, no fancy cell phones, tablets . . . Keep sketching it out every now and then till it clicks. Funny how certain things that stand out in our memories over time.

Rebecca, I found lots of tutorials making log furniture, but none with canvas how you want it. I will send these videos to you, and maybe in the meantime someone will come along with just the answer you need.

  Rose, thanks so much for taking the time to send the tutorials,, I will go thru them and see if I can get the basic frame together, and then I could figure it out I am sure,, I just would be so embarrassed if a friend came over and sat on a rickety log chair or sofa,,I just remember how cute it looked and would be a great winter project.. since we have not gotten enough snow to go play in yet here in Northwest Montana, hopefully I can find a pattern before summer, .
