How do I update my bathroom and where do I start?

My bathroom needs a makeover to bring it up to date..where should I start..flooring..paint..lighting..just tired of the look thanks.

Hello in my opinion new wall color gives the best and immediate impact, thats where I woukd consider starting.
Start with paint, lighting and flooring if you are going to take it that far. A new shower curtain, fluffy towels, rugs and a few well placed accessories can make a world of difference.
Start by replacing the easy items like paint, knobs and pulls, rugs and curtains. If that doesn’t do the trick keep moving forward with larger projects. You may find the simple things make all the difference.
Change the lighting, light switches to match lights, paint the cabinets, half paint and half wood and stencil the floor! A easy make over that is cheap and will give you the most makeover impact for a fresh change.
Look up stencil floors for ideas to match your taste. Look up painted cabinets with wood grain doors. Look under images when you search the internet, always look under images....
Add new hardware to your cabinets. Don't buy at Lowe's, instead shop online for something unique, Wayfair is a good start.
