Soak in dish detergent and use a tooth brush to get in crevices. They make jewelry cleaner but why waste the money. Don't soak stones like turquoise too long, a light dip and a scrub works. The natural stones absorb. If you have silver, tooth paste rubbed on then polished with a soft t shirt scrap works great.

Drop a polident tablet in 1 cup of water , then add jewelry. Takes about 1/2 hour.
Dawn dishsoap and a toothbrush works well
