To sew sofa pillows is a super easy sewing project. It's just a matter of having a pillow form, (I've even used existing pillows and sewn a slipcover for them) then cutting the fabric 1/2" larger on all sides. (that allows for 1/2" seam allowance) Place right sides together and stitch 3 sides together, leaving the 4th side open to turn right side out and put pillow form in. Then fold in edges and hand stitch closed. (That's the simpliest way... if you want to get fancy, you can add a zipper, velcro, button closure etc.) HERE is a post I wrote when I made a french knot wreath pillow with plaid bias.
