How do I patch a roof?
I have a leak on a low side of my roof and water comes into the kitchen. It's worse with snow. Can you tell me a good hack or fix for this?

The fix will depend on the leak and roof composition. Asphalt shingles may be able to fixed with tar if it isn't too bad. We recently had a weird roof leak and we slid a small piece of thin sheet metal under the shingles and tarred. It's a temporary fix since we will be putting a new roof on in the next year.
