How do I improve the look of my stairs?
Carpet has been removed from stairs. Very low budget to fix up. They have already been painted with a runner painted on them but I want something that looks better. I wonder if I could put wood-looking contact paper on the steps with many coats of clear finish on them. Or I welcome any other suggestions. Thanks. Nancy

Hi Nancy, try peel and stick wallpaper. They make these especially cut for stair risers. Try Amazon and Etsy for lots of styles and options! Just search for peel and stick wallpaper for stairs.
I was just going to suggest temporary wallpaper, but Karen beat me to it, lol! Temporary wallpaper comes in a bunch of patterns and colours, and it would be the perfect way to take your stairs to the next level.
