How do I find a flood light bulb that doesn’t cast too much light?

I have flood lights in front of house right outside two bedrooms. I’m looking for LED bulb that is warm or soft that creates outside light but doesn’t produce so much in the bedrooms. I’m looking for advice on lumens, temp range, wattage, soft vs warm, etc. thanksb

You need to know the measurement of the area you wish to have covered (degree of arc and distance from house).
2700 Kelvin will give you a SOFT WHITE Appearance.
3000 Kelvin gives a BRIGHT WHITE Appearance, which can be distracting for many people.
5000 Kelvin has a DAYLIGHT (HIGH NOON INTENSITY) harsh glare, with blue undertones, which most people dislike, as it can hurt your eyes.
The angle at which they are mounted will impact their appearance inside your home.
LED intensity of flood lamps can greatly affect the distance and degree of coverage.
Better lighting stores will have a display bar where you can screw in bulbs to see their intensity, firsthand.
