How do I paint over painted lines?
I previously painted a picket fence on a wall in my daughter's room using painter's tape to make the lines. Now it's time to paint the room again. When I painted over the pickets you can still see the lines they are raised. I can't sand the wall since it is drywall I don't want to damage it. Any suggestions?

This has happened to me too! I’m afraid all you can do is sand the areas that are raised. A random orbital palm sander will do this nicely. Or wallpaper?
Kilz? or Covering paint? or textured paint? Ask at a paint store for the best advice, not just at a big box store.
Only sanding will work. It doesn't damage the walls. I had striped painted in my dining room once. Use an electric sander to make it go faster, then clean the walls thoroughly before painting.
