WD40 wait a few minutes and wash with soap and water.

I usually just toss the item into a sink full of hot, soapy water, let it soak, and the sticky residue comes right off with very little effort. I've heard vinegar and lemon juice also work well!

Hi Fly: If you don't have WD40 or Goo Gone, you can use butter or vegetable oil. Just put a layer on and let it sit for a little bit, maybe 3 or 4, and rub the area. The best thing is rubbing alcohol. Good luck

  • Try these few things- goo gone, or lemon juice, or blue Dawn dish soap (my mother swears this works on everything, lol), soaking in warm water and then scrubbing off. Repeat as necessary till it's gone.
