Boric acid powder, find the nesting area and saturate it with powder. Also take switch and plug plates off, squirt powder inside and put plates back on. Plug spaces around any kind of pipe or wires coming into the house..Put powder in any crack in the kitchen and bath, behind and under appliances. It's best not to leave crumbs or food out. Take trash away daily.
Hi Fly: Here are 2 sites that may help:
Call an exterminator. They live and breed in places you can't get to. Not as expensive as you might think.
So is my brother. A GOOD exterminator can get in and treat the areas you will never get to, to treat them. You will never ever be truly rid of them any other way. Once they nest and you treat the surrounding areas, you won't see them for a bit, but they will still be there. Check with your asthma specialist / allergist and a reputable organic exterminator.
I won't use a conventional exterminator either as I have 6 cats, 3 dogs a canary and a dragon, plus the neighbors 3 dogs and toddler plus my ex husbands 3 dogs plus visiting pets. Relocating the menagerie is no small feat.
Choice is yours but I could tell you horror stories till the cows come home. I personally will put up with a lot of inconveniences, but living with bugs or cockroaches is where I draw the line. It can be done without compromising your health. Certainly your choice, but might be something for you look into.
Hang vapor pest strips in each room.
Hi Sarah.... Try some of these ideas! Good luck on getting rid of them...
