I have a blue powder coming out from baseboards in kitchen. This kitchen has a laminate hard wood floor. What could this be? Help!

It looks like someone dropped their chalkline powder and just installed the floor over it. Does the floor float up and down a little? That could be moving air under the floor that is blowing the powder out at the edge. I would just vacuum it up until it eventually stops blowing out.

It does look like chalk powder but am afraid it is not... it is in multiple place through out kitchen... I vacuum it up everyday for six months... that would be a lot of chalk powder lol was hoping someone has experience with this...

It is boric acid insecticide dust coloured with blue food colouring.
