How do I clean grease build up from a range hood and back splash?

    I use a solution of vinegar and water with a squeeze of blue Dawn dish soap. The more grease, the more vinegar.

    Mary,. Use Lestoil on the hood, but check if you can use it on the back splash. If your hood is stainless steel use a cleaner for that to get a nice shine. This will make it easier to clean next time. Aloha!

    Try a de greased made by Krud Kutter, found at home depot. Works very well !

    Hi Mary, Get yourself a Heavy Degreaser or just make your own with Dawn Dishwashing Liquid in a Mix with Bleach. Use Hot Water.

    Greased lightening (Home Depot or lowes) works like a charm -cuts grease


    spray -wipe. My kind of cleaner

    wow, thank you very much. i have Krudcutter,dawn,bleach and degreaser. I think i will try them all together nothing has worked very good so far. Its really awful it's the results of men cioking and never cleaning just wiping the surfaces off.
