I’d like to update my BS. It’s cutrently tiled, travertine I believe. How can I update this without removing the existing? My cabinets are honey color and the walls are a beige.

Never know bath/shower?backsplash? on here you see all kinds of questions.... use stick on tiles, only thing is if it's not smooth it will not be smooth on surface of tiles Travertine is really porous you may never get it back to original if you paint it. Here's how to paint it https://sefastone.com/4-easy-steps-paint-travertine-tiles/ Are you sure?? I'd leave it maybe another way to change up BS would be better Travertine is so expensive can go for up to 30$ sq ft

Hi Jenni - you could theoretically paint it. Or put something stick on over it, though I'm not sure that anything stick on would look as nice as travertine tile.

Thank you! I thought about painting it. It does look nice as is but I’m ready for a refresh just not a whole demo

Whole new approach here---Why not hang something pretty/ colorful/ interesting under your cabinets to cover portions of the backsplash and draw the eye? Let your current BS be the backdrop. Best wishes !
