How do I find rock wall options to cover a bedroom wall?
I am looking for an option to cover a bedroom wall in the era of my home (1895) to be an accent. I want it to look real but don't want the weight of real rock. Wallpaper is not an option. The faux rock seems to be very costly, compared to real. I don't want to put that much weight on the wall/floor and foundation.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The faux rock is expensive but it is worth it. It will give you the look you want while still being lightweight. Maybe wait until it goes on sale or try to find some on clearance somewhere.

You’re smart to be conscious of the weight issue. It’s actually a Building Code requirement to address the structural load.
If you’ve access to a pro tile saw, you might consider cutting down porcelain bodied tiles that have a stone effect, into what I’d call “running bond” shapes.
It can be thinset to keep the weight down.
