What's it made of? Are you wanting to just straighten or start over?

Concrete blocks. Hoping to not have to start over but it is starting to lean and crack. The weird thing is that the earth that it's holding back doesn't seem to be the issue, just the wall itself. It's a retaining wall in a hill near a inground pool. I'm assuming the hill (drainage) has weakened the concrete mortar. the concrete blocks are older but not broken or damaged

    Hi Cheryl,

First you have to decide why it is leaning, then if it is because it doesn't have enough or any piers regular placed along it, take it down and start again.

Concrete blocks retain a 4ft high section of earth, where the last owner put a inground pool into a hill in the backyard. The ground behind the wall doesn't seem to be the issue ( i.e. there's no sinking) but I would think that the removal of the earth behind the wall would be necessary to straighten. Unfortunately, your idea of tearing down and rebuilding it is the best solution. Thanks
