I have never heard of doing that. I would encourage you to clean the mold from where ever it is, use Zep Clear Shield by spraying it one, and allowing it to dry, then lightly sand. Then use Kilz to paint the wall or item. then paint it what ever color you want. I have had mold in my home and this is the preferred way to keep it out. I am not trying to sell anything, but these items actually work.

You can't. You need to kill the mold first before you paint. You can add a mold resistant additive you can get at all paint stores or buy mold resistant paint. No clorine.

Don't do it. Chemicals in the paint can react with the chlorine and give off harmful gases. It wouldn't work anyway. Special mildewcides are mixed in mold resistant paint.

You can purchase paint that has an additive in it, that would be much better.
