How do I hang a vertical blind slat back up?

There is a clamp/hook hanging on the under side of the track. Push the end of the slat with the hole in it into the hook/clamp.

Sometimes the slats drop down because the hook is broken so you would not be able to just put it up again. You can buy replacements though. But if the hook in the track is broken then you will need to take it to a specialist or buy another.

I have turned the blind upside down punch a hole into the other end works great hardly noticeable

If none of the above work you can buy a small package of replacement hooks which I did. They slide onto the top of the slat and for me they worked perfectly. I had five slats that broke off from the holes. That was two years ago and they're still hanging properly. I purchased them at a local window décor store.
