You can dye leather with leather dye. If the leather has been previously dyed, you will need to degloss it first. You can go a darker color but not lighter. I ordered leather dye and deglosser online. When finished, cover the leather with leather conditioner. I used Fiebings dye. There are YouTube videos showing using their dye.
